COURSE DESCRIPTION

MMGT 217 — Advertising Basics  (3 cr)

This course is designed to increase the student's understanding of advertising and sales promotion. The objective will be accomplished in three ways: 1) through the use of the text which outlines the concepts and problems of retail advertising and sales promotion; 2) through lectures and class discussions; and 3) through a team project that students will develop for a draft advertising campaign.
